On our big trip to San Diego, we saw many cool things….San Diego Zoo, Legoland, Wild Animal Park, SeaWorld, Mission Beach and Belmont Park. Well, I must say that my favorite was the beaches at La Jolla. We met up with Carey Shumacher of Barefoot Memories in San Diego. Finally, I am not behind the camera, but IN FRONT!!! Yikes! I love making people look and feel their very best, but somehow it is hard for me to be on the other side. haha. Thank you Carey for all of your work…you were so much fun.
I wish I would have done this more often…to all those photographers out there, remember to document your life as well as time goes by so quickly and kids grow up super duper fast

You let your 6 year old take off with the point & shoot at the San Diego Zoo! I think he is developing a passion for the camera and I just loved this one. He took it of my oldest son and it turned out so fun

It’s National Geographic Kids. Such a fun site. I have even been known to do the quizzes and the kids laugh when they hear the wrong answer BUZZZZZ! haha.

enjoy!
I recently updated portions of my website after we relocated back to South Carolina…and lo and behold, I had a pricing error on my site. It has since been corrected! The error was that somehow the wording that included the 5×7 and below prices was left off and it only showed 8×10 and below. SO..it now reads correctly to say that 5×7 and below is $45. So sorry
I am also going to be adding prices for some additional items and should have that completed here shortly.
thanks!

No, I won’t be participating as a charity athlete for the American Cancer Society this year and it is killing me to not be a part of it! As you have seen from the blog, we have moved once again (and this is it!!!!), so I am amongst boxes and craziness…but I have also hurt my hip and so completing a triathlon and marathon within 3 months of each other is not attainable for me at the moment. This would have been my third year in a row to raise money for the ACS and this year was very important to me as I have recently lost my grandmother to cancer. The triathlon is this weekend and the marathon is in October…so best of luck to all of the participants!!!
For information on how to be part of the American Cancer Society, please go to www.charityrunner.org and contact your local branch…it is so worth the time, training, pain and emotion that you put into getting ready for the race because you are raising money to help find a cure.

You can view sample slideshows on my "proofing" page. When you are at the main site, there is a tab that says "proofing" and then you can click on the images that are for the sample slideshows and it will give you an idea of how they work and how fun they are!
I am currently working on mini-sessions for the holidays so stay tuned

It’s funny how I search and search for the perfect blend of chocolate brown and a calming sage green…I have once again tweaked my site colors and I am not so sure I am digging them at the very moment. SO….I am just saying that if any of you are going "uhm….ICK!"….I wouldn’t blame you because I am not sure they are how I want them…but that just may be me being a little too picky. But I am that way with my photos as well
Back to the color wheel I go!!!!

Found something really cool today. I think it is a great idea
For each person you buy gifts for over the holiday season, join the campaign and pledge to buy one compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulb for them as well. If the target of 100,000 bulbs is reached it would reduce global CO2 emissions by approximately 50,000 to 62,500 tons – the equivalent of offsetting approximately 2000-5000 US citizens or 4000-5000 UK citizens entirely for a whole year!!!! Pass it on
