Happy Thanksgiving

For those of you asking about information on my weddings, my website has been updated.  I appreciate your patience while I have been making these changes.  Please contact me with any questions you may have.  I am also going to be announcing custom wedding invitations, RSVP cards, save the date cards and thank you notes!!! These are FUN and gorgeous as well as elegant and classy.  Stay Tuned.

Wow, this was so so much fun and I want to share some of the images from the One Light Workshop in Atlanta.  Zack is one amazing photographer with an incredible ability to share and teach so much in one day.  Our group had a blast and the models were superb, even in the freezing cold!!!  I just love when I learn something that makes me jump up and down with excitement…well, and to warm up too ;)

Ok, for those of you (I am one) that have just now started to think of great gifts for Christmas, how many of you are finding it frustrating to have to pay high prices to get what you want?!!  I thought "hmm, Wii is not really new and surely I will find it online without ANY problems"…WRONG!  All sold out, unless of course you head over to Ebay and type in Wii under the search bar.  Yes, you too can have a Wii for close to $500 if you bid fast and furiously.  My goodness!  Does anyone know of a more sensible way for me to locate one of these must have gems?  I just hope that Guitar Hero won’t be as difficult to find:)

Well, happy shopping…It SHOULD be fun???!!!!!  just kidding.  Enjoy Turkey Day!

I have fun doing fun posts that are informative as well.  I LUV to research, read and share.  So, now that it is holiday season and we want to look and feel our best, I thought I would share some tips that I have found and even share some products that I have enjoyed for a long time.  Holidays can be stressful and tiring, but remember, it SHOULD be fun!!!!!

  1. Don’t smoke – If you do, get ready to start that new year’s resolution:)  Save your skin.
  2. Protect your skin- hmmm, something I should have started as a teen, but who didn’t love to BAKE in the sun then?  My all time FAVORITE sunscreen is from SkinCeuticals and I have this on auto-ship from Drugstore.com    You will Love this stuff!300
  3. Take a fish oil supplement  – and I have a FAV for this as well.  It is from Omega Brite and I even have my kids on Omega Brite Kids.    Omegabox_opt
  4. Eat a diet rich in antioxidants – Lots of fruits, veggies, grains.
  5. Drink green tea – but here is my dilemma…this stuff gives me the jitters.  I would love to hear from those of you that have a great one to recommend.
  6. Exfoliate and Moisturize – and something I learned about while living in Denver was dry brushing. Use this little guy and it will do the trick.  It improves circulation and leads to healthier skin.  It has been popular in European countries for over 30 years!  It takes a bit of getting used to but you will soon love it.  Also can be purchased at Drugstore.com200
  7. EXERCISE…EXERCISE…EXERCISE!!!!! – this is a necessity for stress as well.
  8. Reduce Stress  – hmmm, remind me of this often ok?
  9. Drink Water & Reduce Alcohol  – give MetroMint a go!!!  Or try one of the new Hint waters.
  10. HAVE FUN!!!  Laugh:)

Turkey day is approaching fast and the biggest thing to remember is to enjoy time with your family and friends.

Make sure to book your mini-session in order to get your holiday cards on time!  Hard to believe December is just around the corner.  I look forward to designing your family card.

Remember awhile back I was saying that Carey Shumacher of Barefoot Memories in San Diego did our family portraits and I said how much I loved her work?  Well, Rangefinder Magazine loves her work as well and she has been featured more than once.  What makes this time sooooo cool is that an image of me and my boys is featured in the article about her!!!!!!

Here is a link to the article about Miss Carey and that opening image that shows the shore and pier is fabulous.  The article can be seen here.

Way to go Carey :)

I love Halloween and seeing all of the costumes.  The annual chili and pizza party continues to grow and it is such a blast to hang out, eat, talk and play before everyone heads out in droves to trick-or-treat!
