WOW! That is the word that comes to mind when I think about this amazing wedding. I was counting my gear over and over making sure that I had everything packed before I got on the plane and still even then double-checked my bags. What a privilege to be a part of this exciting day for Chris and Peggy. The Palmer House and Holy Family are part of Chicago’s rich history. Holy Family is the second oldest cathedral in Chicago and went through renovations not too long ago. The reception was at the Crystal Gardens at Navy Pier and that is just eye candy all around! I begged the skies to give me puffy and dramatic clouds and much to my amazement, there they were. The day was incredible and I want to say thank you Chris and Peggy for allowing me to be a part of it.

Congratulations to you both and enjoy your honeymoon!

Now, this one was just TOO funny to not post. This girl asked to have her photo taken in front of the trolley and it just was worth of sharing :)

Thank you for stopping by.

  • Great job Lisa!
I especially like the images inside the church, the ferris wheel in the background, and the one of the little girl that looks like a reflection but isn’t (makes it even better). The guys hanging out the widow in the last one is niiiiiiiicce too.

I know I haven’t posted much since I flew to Chicago to shoot a wedding…and have been playing catch-up ever since, but I just HAD to post about the Olympics tonight! I was jumping up and down with excitement when Phelps captured his 8th gold and Torres beat her record to get the silver in her two events. Go USA!!

Gosh, between the Cubs and the Olympics it has been an exciting time in the world of sports.

Now, back to working on my photos. I promise to be back and posting real soon.

Thanks for stopping by.
