A gorgeous wedding on a perfect cool fall afternoon in Anderson, SC. I am so thankful that I was able to shoot this wedding with Jarrad of Jarrad Lister Photography who is an amazing photographer. While I was shooting the getting ready shots I couldn’t help but comment at least a dozen times on how incredible the bridesmaid dresses were!! The color, fabric and design was sensational. RoseAngela pointed out that each one was different in design. After she mentioned that they were different and that she hand picked each design, I was REALLY in awe. Then I was off to get some shots of the groom and groomsmen getting ready. All the guys were having a blast cracking jokes, eating Skittles and playing a few games of Rock Paper Scissors while putting on vests and ties.
After the ceremony, everyone headed across the street to a white pillared historical home with a very well tended to garden decorated with white lanterns. What an amazing evening. I wanted to share a handful of the images.

All the best to you RoseAngela & Clay!
Thank you for stopping by.

The morning sun was just right, the temperature was nice and cool and the kids were ready to explore the area. We found a great area to take some family shots and up walks a duck without hesitation and was probably expecting food. This could not have been better timing! The kids had a blast watching him and it made for some awesome photos. The kids really got a good laugh when the duck was getting really close to mom’s toes, almost as if he was going to snack on them:) I wanted to share a few from this fun session.

Thank you for stopping by.

Ever since I can remember I have loved looking at fashion magazines. I can remember when W Magazine was still in newspaper form, and today it is a large glossy publication standing out from the others due to it’s size. To this day I still have a love affair with Vanity Fair, Vogue, Elle, W, Town & Country and the list goes on and on. The only difference is that I now also enjoy looking at health & fitness magazines. What would grab my attention while thumbing through countless pages, were the photographs. Sure I would read an article here and there, but overall it was the images that I found interesting. Maybe that is why fashion shoots are such a thrill for me.
Trey Moore of South Carolina is a budding actor & model with a promising career ahead of him. He was named one of Cosmopolitan Magazine’s Bachelor of the Year. Visit his website to view his portfolio and bio. (click the word website) He will certainly be one to watch. Here are a handful of images that I wanted to share.

  • Awesome Lisa!
They are all very nice, but I really like 3 & 11 a lot!

I have always been the same way with magazines, and remember the old W Mag too. I got such a kick out of reading what you wrote. I knew I wanted to be a photographer at 14. All of these magazines played a big role in that decision.

Photographer Amy Wood of Spartanburg had a fun birthday party planned for her son Evan and I took some pictures of all the fun. This little guy has eyes just like his mom…beautiful! Evan was a little timid with the cake, but eventually he was covered in chocolate and it was about that time that he wanted to hug everyone :) The cupcakes were awesome too!

Thanks for stopping by.

Cashiers, North Carolina is where this gorgeous wedding took place on a perfect fall evening. Everyone was a bit worried about the weather as the clouds were a bit thick and dark. As I made my way up to the mountains I kept saying to myself that if the sky stayed this way, we would have an amazing backdrop for pictures. Luckily, the dramatic clouds stuck around and it was an all around perfect day. We started out at the home of Amy’s parents which has the most breathtaking views! After the ceremony we headed out to the reception site and the tent was perfectly lit with lanterns and the decor was spectacular! Even the water bottles were an accent. I ended up having to spend the night as there was no gas to be found, but I cannot think of a better place to run low on fuel. Thank you Amy & Ole for allowing me to be a part of your very special day. It was a pleasure getting to know you and your families. Thanks to Zac Thomas for your contribution to the collection of photos!

All the best to you Ole & Amy!!

I met my client at a Starbuck’s next to where we were going to have the session for her daughter. I introduced myself to everyone and then noticed a bag FULL of fun clothes. I was in heaven! Who would have more fun, Miss Lisa or the 4 year old? I must say it was hard to tell :) Here are just a handful of images from our super fun session. I truly melted when I saw these big beautiful eyes full of life staring at me as I began to edit them.
