What an honor to have Lindsey Hager of Nashville back for a second round of photos! Like most artists, Lindsey is moving toward defining her style and this process is one that evolves and grows. So, for this session, we added a little more ‘rock’ into the look and I must say she was amazing yet once again. It was very difficult to narrow down my favorites and so I just decided to post a handful and then add the slideshow.
Lindsey, it has been SO fun working with you and getting to know you along the way!
The slideshow is posted below photos.
Be sure to check out Lindsey’s site, she is truly amazing!
This was a day filled with loads of fun, laughter and heartfelt moments. A large wedding party, fun people and caring friends & family made this day quite special for Shane & Anna. When I woke up the morning of their wedding, I was a little worried about the forecast, but decided we were going to have fun no matter what! I loaded my car with all my gear and headed to the store to get more umbrellas – just in case. After all, this is a day to celebrate and not worry about rain right? Well, the skies cooperated and rained only at times when it really didn’t matter While coming up with ideas on group shots for the large wedding party, I saw an old antique couch that just HAD to be a part of the photos. The groomsmen were more than happy to lift it outside – and even LIFT Anna while sitting on the couch!
One of the bridesmaids is a well-known makeup artist in the Greenville area and was so caught up in making Anna look amazing that she forgot she was a part of the wedding party…if only for a moment. She is truly a perfectionist and you must check out her website.
The great part was that everyone was up for anything even when I asked them to be goofy and didn’t laugh too hard when I acted goofy myself. This made our jobs much fun and allowed us to be even more creative. Here I was worried about rain putting a damper on the day, while in the end, everyone ended up soaking wet after jumping in the pool. The perfect finale.

WOW! Lisa, I’ve been to many weddings but you guys amazed me at the neverending work and passion that you put into this wedding. I loved every picture!!! Your talent is a gift and Anna looks like the perfect bride. Honored to have been a part of it. Love ya!
One thing that I made a mental note of while shooting Gordon & Lee’s wedding was how different shooting in a familiar venue or location is for each and every new couple. I imagine that is due to the fact that we as people are all very different and so a familiar location can have a very fresh feel to it every time. To me, that is rather exciting and loads of fun! Gordon & Lee chose to have all children in the wedding party which was also quite fun as I really enjoy working with kids both young and old
The reception was filled with so many fun activities that kept everyone on their feet. Jay Dee the balloon artist was creating things with balloons that I didn’t know were possible. The bride & groom he made was so cool that I took about 15 pictures just of that creation. Patti Rishforth was cutting silhouettes of each guest and providing the finished product to them as a favor. The photo booth was so much fun for everyone and the costumes were a hoot! The music was provided by Puzzle and was enjoyed by all. Thanks to the wonderful work of Brigitte & Kim of Southern Panache Events, the entire evening carried on without a hitch. We were lucky to dodge the occasional bit of rain and managed to get out and about for many of the photos.
Thank you Gordon & Lee for allowing me to be a part of your special day.
As always, thank you to my great assistant.

Happy Mother’s Day to all moms out there, especially mine Everyone can appreciate this hilarious video because even if you are not a mom, you have one and most likely have heard some of these sayings! I laugh every time I see this. Enjoy.
When I left Drew & Jill’s wedding after a full 12 hour day, I told my assistant that I love each and every wedding I shoot. It has been so much fun working with Drew & Jill from the engagement & bridal sessions, creating save the date cards and wedding invitations, to the perfectly planned wedding event. Every person there, both family and friend, was having such an amazing time! The band 80′z Enuff was SO awesome and played two encore songs after pleading from the audience. Thank goodness for fast reflexes because I was not expecting the Tennessee flag and the Clemson tiger to come out on the dance floor. I smiled and laughed so much during the evening that my jaw hurt
Be sure to see the slideshow just below the posted images.
Thank you Drew & Jill for allowing me to be a part of your special day. I wish you both the very best!
To my assistant: THANK YOU as always.
Lisa you did SUCH an amazing job on all of the pictures. I have heard from all of my friends how great of a job you did capturing the fun of the entire evening! Thank you for everything!
