The Allison Family

11-29-2009

It was a great day to have fun in the park and get some great family photos. Within the first 5 minutes the soccer ball managed to end up in the river and was floating downstream, away from us. We had to do some creative distracting to keep it being a big meltdown for the kids. I took the kids by myself for a bit to throw leaves, roll around on the ground, run, make silly faces and oh, take pictures. This is all part of the fun of family sessions. It’s all about letting the kids be kids and getting great shots along the way.

Be sure to watch the super fun slideshow below the photos.

A couple of big and exciting changes for Aaron and Rebekah this year. Their wedding and a big move from New York to Chicago! I know it can be difficult to move to a new place and leave great friends, but I must say they are moving to a wonderful city. Being a bit biased as that is home for me. But, people are friendly and the city itself is beautiful. There is no doubt that Aaron & Rebekah will make friends quickly as they are both amazing, friendly and fun people.

The weather the day of the wedding was perfect. The sun was out, the leaves were full of color and the rain finally stopped. The color of the sky just at sunset was something I had to take advantage of and it made for some beautiful images. The Cherrydale House was the first stop of the day and then to the Charles Daniel Chapel. Both are on the scenic Furman campus. The reception was at Green Valley Country Club where the eating, dancing began and the fun continued.

Thank you to Allison Elizabeth for being an amazing second photographer and working so very hard.

Wishing you both the very best Aaron and Rebekah. It was such an honor to be a part of your big day!! I hope to see you again when I head home to visit family in Chi-town :)

Below the posted images you will see the slideshow which has access to the online ordering gallery, just click the shopping cart. The gallery hosts all the images whereas the slideshow is a highlight of the day.

  • The most beautiful wedding pictures I have ever seen! Of course the subjects photographed were gorgeous…but the artistic creativity is the best I have ever had the privilege to see. What a wonderful keepsake for a great couple! What a talented photographer…is she in the Greenville area by chance? I will be passing her name on if so.
Much love to the Corley family for such a wonderful day from the Bo Wilson Family!

My first thought when I saw Jack & Brice was how much they have grown since our last session. My second thought was how great it is to be a part of documenting their little lives. Since we have worked together before, they were already used to being around me. So off we went to run, play, climb trees, giggle and throw leaves. We had to reschedule a few times due to our crazy weather, but it was so well worth it!

Marathon engagement sessions seem to be the norm for me lately and I love doing them.  What a great way to get to know my bride & groom better and get some great photos of them having a blast.  William & Stephanie are proud graduates of Clemson and so it was only natural for them to want to have pictures taken on campus.  It was Homecoming Weekend 2009 and the floats were being decorated the day of the session which made for great photos, although most of them were still in the early stages of decoration.  We were all treated to an amazing tour of the football stadium and even managed to hold a Clemson pumpkin for a couple of shots.  Once we finished with our campus photos, we headed out to Stephanie’s family lake house and was welcomed by Greer’s wagging tail.  Greer is their beautiful dog and little did he know that he was going to be posing for a few pics as well :)

It turned out to be a fabulous day and I am excited to share some images from William & Stephanie’s e-session.  Below you will find a handful of photos followed by the slideshow.  The gallery hosts all the images and can be accessed through the slideshow shopping cart or by clicking on this link.
