Picking just the right location for promo shoots is part of the fun. After listening to a few of Matt’s songs, and talking with him a bit we decided on a location and set a date to do the shoot. Thank goodness my ‘good weather dance’ worked as we had comfortable temps and big puffy clouds which make for dramatic backdrops. Matt probably had no idea that we would climb walls, walk over piles of junk, hang on bridges and climb fences, but he did all of it with a smile. Oh and of course a few laughs as I jumped right into a huge fire ant hill! I managed to compose myself as I slapped my legs silly until they biting bugs were off me. Thanks Matt for making the day super fun!

Working with other artists always pushes me to try something fun and new. Sunny Ledfurd’s manager contacted me to do a shoot for his latest promotions and images for his new website and I was thrilled. We decided to meet at a bar & grill in North Carolina that Sunny frequents which turned out to be a fantastic location. The people in the background look like we planned them to be there, but they just really fit for the shoot!

There is nothing better than having repeat sessions with little ones because once they feel comfortable, it just opens up the day to have nothing but fun! Jack & Brice were going about the morning just as kids do…running around, playing and laughing, all while I am trying to capture every smile and funny sweet face. A game of chase is always interesting with big camera in hand, but always fun. Just wanted to share a few from the day.
