Jana is a local wedding & portrait photographer as well as a wonderful friend. This year we made the trip to Vegas for WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) together. Jana was asked to speak at the ImageQuix booth in the trade show and she needed to have photos to submit for their fliers. She was asked to speak about running a successful business while being a full time mom of two children. When we were setting up the photo shoot, we talked about how the images should capture her as a business woman, a mom and all the organized chaos in between 🙂 It has been a couple of months since we made the trip, but I really wanted to share these. Be sure to check out her work at Jana Candler Photography!

I am looking forward to our trip next year!
Thanks for stopping by.

This maternity session was incredible fun for so many reasons.  My client is anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little one and having this maternity session makes it even more exciting.  What fun it is to be pampered by your friends, family and photographer for a few hours to capture the beauty of a growing belly.  I must say I was in heaven when I arrived to the house to have my choice of fabrics to wrap my client in, as her mother has her interior decorating business in her home.  After hair and makeup was finished we made our way up the hill to start in the woods and then eventually make our way down the hill to the lake.  I must have ran up and down the hill several times when I realized I left a diffuser or reflector at the top of the hill and not down where we were.  Needless to say, we all got our exercise in for the day!

I must thank my client for allowing me to share these gorgeous photos of her so that others could see just how beautifully radiant she is at this time in her pregnancy.

Assistance from a friend does not stop at hair and makeup…she realizes that she now is a diffuser and relector handler!!!  We had a few gusts of wind that made holding them rather difficult 🙂

Thank you for stopping by. I have many posts to get caught up on this week 🙂
