The day Catherine, Jarrad & I set out to do the engagement session was a day that there was a lot of activity going on in the city. So our original location was packed with a family festival and we had to search for a new location. The beauty of it is that we found THE perfect locations for their shoot, so in the end it was a good thing 🙂 The red background was a great contrast against the wooden numbers of their wedding date. I instantly saw a save the date card. haha. Enjoy a handful of photos and the slideshow. Thank you Catherine & Jarrad, I had a blast with you both!!

It was probably a great thing that the initial date for the engagement session was rescheduled because the day we did shoot was absolutely perfect. Not too warm, not too cold and the sun & sky were awesome. Suzie & Mitch have crazy work and school schedules and our original date was pushed back to things just being a little too hectic. Well that day happened to be really chilly, windy and a bit on the grey side. So see, things really do work out for the better 🙂 I was laughing while reading Suzie’s email asking to push the date back because she mentioned that she could make it work if she had a Red Bull & coffee beforehand. We both had some laughs exchanging emails and it was decided that we would just wait. So I headed to Carlisle to the family home that is chock full of history. I could have stayed there for hours looking at all the old photos on the walls. An amazing home with some fun stories I am sure. I had the best time with all of them that day!! I say all of them because we had their two dogs and cat, and they were up for a shoot as well. I cannot WAIT for Suzie’s bridal session and then the big wedding day for the two of them. Thank you Suzie & Mitch for a fun-filled day! Please enjoy a handful of photos with a slideshow at the end.
