Since Kent & Brandi just finished building their beautiful home, there were rooms that still needed furnishing. That is actually quite a treat for me as a photographer because it is like a custom home studio in which we can play in and get great photos. Kent is a custom home builder in the area and does an amazing job! The hardwood floors and open spaces allowed us to get family photos right in the foyer where the light was perfect. Their two twin boys are so much fun and full of energy. After we were finished taking family pictures, Cade & Cole took me to their playroom and I continued to get fun shots of them just being boys. I really would enjoy a full day of following them around and snapping bits of their lives while they ran around and played.

I ab-so-lutely love doing shoots with kids. It doesn’t matter if they are young or close to adulthood. I never say that we are going to do a photo session…heck we are going to play and have fun! After all, this is how real expressions are captured and the true essence of that person is preserved on film for a lifetime. And fun we had. Alexis, Kennedy and Emma were up for anything and full of smiles and funny faces. I love how they only ‘sort of’ matched..they had jeans and white shirts, but pieces that still made them individuals.
