Starting the wedding day off at a little bed & breakfast, 605 W. Main Street was a perfect beginning to the day ahead.  The girls spent the night there which made it easy to get ready in the morning.  I met Tim & Ashley back in July when we did our full day engagement session at The Cradle of Forestry located in the mountains of North Carolina.  When Tim mentioned in the questionnaire that he loves how Ashley turns and looks at him with her pretty smile, I quickly noticed what he was talking about.  Ashley has such big and beautiful eyes and she looks at him in a way that says it all…that she loves him.

We met up again in October for Ashley’s bridal session which turned out amazing.  I was unable to post any of the photos prior to the wedding ‘just in case’ Tim happened upon my blog!  So, I will be sure to post them next.  Once again, after spending so much time with my bride, mother of the bride and groom, I begin to feel like they are friends when we get to the wedding day which makes the interaction so natural and fun.

The morning of the wedding Ashley was having a bit of the bridal jitters worrying that everything would be perfect as she planned, so I would look at her, rub her arms and say “breathe…this is your day to enjoy”.   And enjoy she did, right there along with Tim.  Tim and Ashley, I am so happy for you.  Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this fabulous day, it’s such an honor!

A couple of big and exciting changes for Aaron and Rebekah this year. Their wedding and a big move from New York to Chicago! I know it can be difficult to move to a new place and leave great friends, but I must say they are moving to a wonderful city. Being a bit biased as that is home for me. But, people are friendly and the city itself is beautiful. There is no doubt that Aaron & Rebekah will make friends quickly as they are both amazing, friendly and fun people.

The weather the day of the wedding was perfect. The sun was out, the leaves were full of color and the rain finally stopped. The color of the sky just at sunset was something I had to take advantage of and it made for some beautiful images. The Cherrydale House was the first stop of the day and then to the Charles Daniel Chapel. Both are on the scenic Furman campus. The reception was at Green Valley Country Club where the eating, dancing began and the fun continued.

Thank you to Allison Elizabeth for being an amazing second photographer and working so very hard.

Wishing you both the very best Aaron and Rebekah. It was such an honor to be a part of your big day!! I hope to see you again when I head home to visit family in Chi-town 🙂
