I woke up to some really great news today…something that started my day off with a smile. I was notified that this photograph was chosen as one of the winners in this year’s contest at The Westin Poinsett downtown Greenville. A big congratulations to the other photographers who had images chosen. There are a total of 12 that will be proudly displayed in their hallway for others to see. It’s an honor and I am really thankful!!
The biggest perk to my job is that I get to capture the love between two people and provide them with those captured moments so they can enjoy them for a lifetime. Wow..that was a long run-on sentence, but it was the best way to describe my thoughts 🙂 Beth and Donna said their “I Do’s” in New York on January 17th 2014, but they wanted to share this special time with friends and family by having a wedding celebration. After discussing several options, they decided to have their reception at the Embassy Suites in Greenville, SC. The outdoor terrace was perfect for their event since they wanted something casual yet elegant. It was important to them both that everyone simply enjoyed the evening and that is exactly what happened. There were so many hugs, smiles, laughs, tears and well-wishes…and as one person said “This room is filled with so much love!”
I am so very happy for you Beth & Donna!!! It’s a beautiful thing to see you both so so happy. Thank you for having me capture your special day.
