Elegant. Intimate. Classy & Classic. These words are what I think of when I look back at the wedding day of Angela & Chris. After we met for getting ready photos and individual portraits downtown Greenville, we headed up to Pretty Place chapel for the ceremony. It was at the end of the day that I mentioned how I wished I could maneuver my way around the hairpin turns and take video all at the same time because the leaves were falling slowly while the sun lit up the colorful leaves. It really was like a quiet magical moment. I cannot think of a better drive to experience on the way up to hear Angela and Chris say their vows.

You couldn’t help but walk out to the end of the chapel and look out over the mountains…I guess that is why it is called Pretty Place because that it is. Once we were finished with the photos, it was time to make our way back to the city and enjoy dinner, a few toasts and cake. It was nice to sit with all the family & guests at one big table and enjoy the evening. I had an incredible time the entire day and am so thrilled to have been a part of it all. Oh and can I brag a moment? My sweet bride Angela is an incredible entrepreneur and has a line of hand blended perfume oils, scrubs, and body butters called Poison Apple Apothecary on Etsy. Be sure to check it out. Heck, they both are really driven in their careers and it is great to see them support each other on their passions. I am so excited for you both and look forward to our post-wedding photo session!! Thank you again!

A pretty fall day, an outdoor ceremony with seating facing the mountains, rich colors, a couple FULL of smiles made for a perfect wedding day for Leah & Blake.  OH and the personalized vows?? Enough to make everyone teary-eyed.   Leah & Blake’s vows were so beautiful and heartfelt that I wanted to go up and give them both a hug during the ceremony.  No I didn’t do that, but I sure wish I could have.  LOL.  Leah put a lot of thought into the little details of her wedding and when I saw the rocks for guests to sign, I realized that all those little details fit perfectly for this intimate fall wedding.

When I came back to the room where Leah was getting ready and told her that Blake was excited and nervous, she had a huge smile and said that she couldn’t wait to see him.  Once they read their vows to each other and made their marriage official, they walked down the aisle to then wait and greet all their guests with many hugs.  It was then time to go have some fun on the hills with the wedding party as you will see in the photos.  One of the running shots had me laughing when I saw Leah’s expression.  Too cute!

As the evening was coming to an end, it was time to start the fire and bring out the S’mores.  I am still trying to figure out why I didn’t have one myself.  Once again, this was a very fitting detail of the wedding day and was a great way to finish the day.  I wish you both all the very best!!  I am honored to have been a part of your wedding events and hope to see you again sometime soon.  A huge thank you to Todd for all your help, it is so very appreciated.  Please enjoy a handful of images with the slideshow just below them.
