CAKE POPS! My mouth waters just looking at them. These little sweet gems have so much versatility and are a great conversation piece. Cake pops are one of the newest phenomenons to hit the wedding favors market. They can be designed to fit any theme and you can even offer a variety of flavors to be certain there is something for everyone. Think of a cross between a lollipop and a piece of cake – a cake pop. The possibilities are endless. You can make an entire cake out of cake pops, have a cake pop bar instead of a candy bar…or mix it up with both, or wrap each one individually with a little “thank you” note attached. The best part is that they are total FUN!

Today is another one of those days where I need an extra dose of sunshine!  To be honest, staying in bed all day would be awesome on a day like today!  It is dreary, cloudy and rainy.  But what better way to put a little sunshine in your day, than a Wedding Wednesday that combines both the sun and the clouds!

As I mentioned in a previous Wedding Wednesday, picking a color scheme for your wedding is the first step in planning something spectacular.  Finding those little details that go with your color palette, can be so much fun!  One of my favorite color combinations is yellow and gray!  Well, yellow and anything if I am being totally honest.  In fact, you may just see more Wedding Wednesdays with the color yellow as inspiration!  It goes so well with so many other colors!

Most of my house is painted gray and a lot of the rooms have yellow as the accent color.  Ikea just delivered my new gray sofa today!!  And the fabric on the pillow in the inspiration board…it is in my kitchen!  So, as you can tell, I adore the color yellow!

When putting together this inspiration board, I realized this would be a dream wedding to shoot.  Inspiration boards are a way of helping brides with choices on their big day.  And they are a way of saying, “if you have a wedding like this in mind, call me!  I would love to help you put it together and photograph it!” 🙂
