Engagement sessions are awesome! Truly. They are a ton of fun, stress-free and it’s a way for all of us to get to know each other before the wedding day. Oh and to capture some really beautiful pictures too!! 🙂 One of the most rewarding things for me as a wedding photographer is to see my bride & groom get used to being in front of the camera and walk away excited while they had fun together. This is a time that should be a lot of fun in the midst of planning a big and very important day.

We started out at Clemson and boy was it warm outside. All three of us kept saying that it felt like summer already. The Clemson campus is so beautiful and has endless locations to take photos. OH and of course we had to go to the spot where Jacob proposed to Kristen. When we made it back to Greenville, the sun was going down and thankfully so was the temperature. The end of day light is so great and we continued until the sun dropped below the horizon. A super fun day and I cannot WAIT for Kristen & Jacob’s wedding 😀

What is really awesome about being able to be Megan & Tripp’s wedding photographer is that I first met Megan years ago when I shot her sister’s wedding and bridal session. Then after that, I saw her at other weddings that I shot and it was fun for me to catch up with her even if briefly. And then the day came when she contacted me to say she was engaged and that she wanted me to be her photographer. Oh happy day!! I was thrilled and feel so honored. Megan and Tripp have had an engagement session with their good friend and very talented photographer Abbie (whom I adore) of CARTERelite, so this session was a bonus. I am a firm believer that engagement sessions are so helpful for knowing what to expect on the wedding day and to grow the connection between us all…plus they are fun! So we decided to have a session downtown Greenville, which is always a fabulous choice!
