Yes, session(s) is correct 🙂 There was a part 1 and a part 2. Both were complete and total fun!! I even was lucky enough to have one of my previous brides along on both days because she and Sarah are very close friends…and she made sure Sarah’s makeup stayed flawless. A definite bonus! The moment I met Sarah & Collin, I knew we would all have a fabulous time together. They are such an adorable couple! After chatting with Sarah a few times, I decided it was best to split their engagement session into two parts because she wanted to have a part of it at Clemson and part of it downtown Greenville. Thank goodness the weather worked in our favor because Collin was leaving for Chicago to attend dental school right after we had the dates for the shoots on the calendar. While I was waiting for them to arrive at the Clemson stadium, it looked as though it would storm really bad. So I started doing a crazy rain dance in hopes that no one would see. Ok, so I made that up. haha. The clouds parted and left the most amazing puffy clouds with the sun peeking through which was ahhh-mazing! On day two we ran into two couples that were just about to celebrate 50 years together. It was the cutest thing to hear them give advice to Sarah & Collin on how to stay happily married.

Please enjoy a handful of images with the slideshow posted just below them. Thank you Sarah & Collin for making both days so much fun. Collin, I am jealous you are in Chicago but so very excited for you and what lies ahead. It is an incredible city for sure.

Leah and I have been talking about ideas for their engagement session ever since she booked her wedding. She has so many great ideas for the wedding day details as well as thoughts about the engagement photos. I asked Leah if she is on Pinterest (silly question right?) and if she has been pinning ideas. Needless to say, the chatter was abundant about pinning ideas and us sharing a board so that I can have a really good feel for what she was wanting. Leah knew that she wanted to have a natural and beautiful setting but with a mix of a more urban look. I instantly knew where we would meet up. When Leah and Blake pulled up next to me in the parking lot, I was impressed by all the coordinated outfits hanging in the car. I finally got to put a face to the name and had to give Leah a hug. We had been talking for some time before the shoot. Blake was nothing but smiles and I am sure Leah will agree, his smile will make others smile right along with him…very contagious 🙂 Both of them were nervous but I assured them we would have fun and they would do great! They did and the best part for me was seeing them really enjoying the whole shoot. That is what these area all about…having fun together, us all getting to know each other and getting great pics to boot.

Thank you Leah & Blake for a super awesome fun afternoon!! You two are adorable and I cannot wait for your big day!
