It was a full weekend of planning and wedding appointments for Rebecca & Bill. They flew in to Greenville and had a short window of opportunity to get many things completed for their upcoming wedding. Two of those things to get done were the engagement session and Rebecca’s bridal shoot. In between all their appointments and photo shoots, they managed to get in a little time with family and Bill even got a chance to get in a game of golf 🙂 All we could hope for was that Mother Nature cooperated and gave us good weather. Well, we got great weather!! The engagement session was on a Friday afternoon and downtown Greenville was hoppin’ with the weekend buzz. We passed a BBQ competition and there was a sign that we HAD to take a photo in front of because it would add a little humor to the slideshow. We also managed to get photos in front of a van that looked like a piece of brightly colored fine art. Boy did it make for some amazing images!! The biggest thing to remember on any shoot, but especially the engagement one, is to have fun. We definitely had a lot of that! Oh, and no engagement session is complete without several smooch shots! haha

Sunday morning was Rebecca’s bridal shoot, but unfortunately I have to be patient and wait to share those beautiful photos until late in the year. No peeking! Please enjoy the handful of images and slideshow to follow. Thanks Rebecca & Bill for a fun weekend. I look forward to seeing you both again in November!

It is so much fun when a bride or groom has a creative idea for engagement photos. With William & Kate’s royal wedding coming up, I thought it was neat that Megan & Kristian’s photos are ready to post just prior to the big day in the UK. Why? Because, Megan thought it would be fun to mimic the famous engagement shot of the royal couple and Megan & Kristian were just the couple to pull it off! Megan’s mom was so great to tag along on our 2 hour trek and watch after their dogs when they weren’t in the shot. I had to laugh a couple of times when her mom would say “I’ve got it under control” as I watched her hold one leash and go after the other that got loose. haha. We had a warm & windy day which was perfect for our session that was rescheduled earlier due to all these crazy storms we’ve been having. I had so much fun with you both Megan & Kristian!!
