There is a fun & cute story about how Brooke & Brian met and if you ask them, they will both have their own side about Facebook friend requests! When we met for the engagement shoot I was asking about how they got to know each other, and they both had me laughing while the story…or should I say, stories were told. All I have to say is, thank goodness Brian accepted the one (or several) friend request(s) from Brooke because now they are engaged! They initially met in 2002, but their paths didn’t cross again until 2009. It wasn’t too long ago that Brian asked Brooke to marry him while they were having dinner at Rick Erwin’s downtown Greenville. While out walking around on the engagement shoot, we stopped in at Rick Erwin’s to take a few pictures…afterall, this is a very important place. With the wedding day right around the corner, it was important to get the engagement & bridal pictures done right away. So, the very next day after the engagement session, I met up with Brooke for her bridal shoot. BUT everyone will have to wait a little bit to see those pictures 🙂
Please enjoy a handful of images with the slideshow just below them.

Only 50 days to go before Drew & Lynsey’s wedding day and I cannot wait!  It has been a lot fun getting to know this fun couple and the engagement session was just another way for us to spend time chatting, laughing and getting some really great photos.   When I was asked what they should wear on their e-session, I sent them some suggestions by email.  Drew & Lynsey showed up for their shoot and I was uber excited because they had on the perfect outfits!!  They coordinated but didn’t match.  They wore color, but didn’t overdo it.  They were not afraid of pattern – and in fact, Lynsey wore polka dots.  The best part was Lynsey’s red shoes!!  Loved them 🙂  The engagement session is a time for couples to have a little fun with fashion while still looking like it is their style.  It was St. Patricks Day, so downtown Greenville was alive with music and people wearing green everywhere.  This made for even more fun as we walked around looking for our next location to stop and shoot.

For those of you that are recently engaged and have considered forgoing an engagement session, reconsider.  This is a way for the couple & photographer to get to know each other more, for the bride & groom to get used to being in front of the camera which will help on the wedding day, and a way to get some really cool shots of the two of you having a blast being with each other.

Lynsey, I am really looking forward to your bridal session 🙂
