There is one thing that is for sure…Clemson is one beautiful area to take photos especially this time of year. We were able to get so much variety in Nealy & Alex’s engagement session and all within one general area. The sunlight was so beautiful that it made me want to do happy dances all throughout the shoot, but that just might have scared my awesome bride & groom! haha. Nealy & Alex are such a fun couple and there was nothing better for me to see than the two of them enjoying the session more and more as it went on. The best part was after the sun dropped and we wrapped things up, Nealy and I started to discuss her bridal session. Alex chimes in and says “What about a groom’s session?”. I like the way he thinks!! It got me thinking “why NOT?”.
I am so thrilled to be their photographer and am really looking forward to getting to know Nealy & Alex more as the days go on leading up to their big day. Thank you so much for making the day an absolute blast!!

Tomorrow is a very big and exciting day for me and the rest of the Challenge to Conquer Cancer (C3) group because we set out on our long but beautiful journey to Lewiston, Maine! This is the 6th year for C3 and my 3rd. It is an incredible honor to be a part of such an amazing group of people that are all working so very hard for a great cause…to find a way to beat cancer. Over the last 5 years, the journey has ended in Austin, TX with the LiveStrong Challenge. This is when the team met up with our warriors and their families. It is one very emotional experience and one that touches so many because cancer unfortunately, touches way too many. This year we are changing things up a bit and heading to Maine for the Dempsey Challenge. This will be the most our crew has ever climbed and it is all for the ones we love and honor that are fighting the battle of cancer. The soul function of the C3 team and as a non-profit organization is to give back to the community by providing funding and resources that aid in cancer research, awareness, education, and support.
As a mom and a business owner, it is not easy to step away for a week but I am beyond thankful for the support, encouragement and understanding of my two boys, family and friends as I go into my 3rd year with this great team. If you have a moment, take a look at our website and follow the blog as we will be providing stories and updates as we make our way up north.
Now on to more great things…I am continuing to raise funds and in an effort to do so, I am offering 3 lifestyle sessions with the professionally edited images on DVD for you to share and enjoy as you wish! This lifestyle session can be an engagement, bridal, family, senior or professional headshot session. The session is not as short as a mini but will have a 1 hour time limit. This will give you time to get a variety of beautiful images. We can discuss the details once you book. The location will need to be within 20 miles of Greenville, SC. Again, I am only offering 3 total. The 1 hour session with DVD has a value of $475, and with your minimum donation of $175, the session is yours 🙂
