I could not be any more excited for the year 2013 and we are off to a great start and already into the month of February…the month of love. I love hearing about love. I love capturing love through the lens. I love seeing what it is that is shared between two people in love. Heck…I just love love! So, for the first time I am doing an engagement session giveaway contest. The winner will receive a 2-hour engagement session, an HD video created from both images and video snippets from the session, all images on DVD to print and share as you wish. If you book a wedding date with Lisa, you will also receive a 10×10 custom guest book created with your engagement photos. Either way…it is a sweet deal!
Spread the word. Tell your friends. Invite anybody so totally in love that they can’t miss out on this opportunity. And most importantly, don’t forget to enter yourself! This is going to be SO much fun!!

Anybody with a set wedding date.
How do I enter?
I want to hear your story. Your LOVE story. Answer this question, “What was the moment you knew you’d say ‘I do’?” Also, send in a photo of you and your significant other. Something creative. Something that shows us who you are. Send everything to lisacarpenter@me.com along with your full names, email address, phone number, home address, and wedding date. Please put “Giveaway” in the subject line.
When is the deadline?
All submissions must be received by February 16th, 2013 at midnight EST to be considered.
How do I win?
After the submissions are closed, I will select the top three most interesting stories and photos to post on our blog. Stories will be open to voting for seven days, and the winner will be determined by the most number of comments–so get creative with your submissions! Be sure to like my Facebook page and leave a comment saying hello 🙂
What are the details?
The date for the engagement shoot must in 2013 on an available day (we can discuss). This is the time for things to get a bit busy, so please be flexible! I love to shoot anywhere in the world and travel often, so couples outside of the Greenville, SC area are welcome to enter, as along as you are willing to provide travel and lodging. If you are within 1 hour of Greenville, you may enter as local and there will be no additional travel fees.
What is the fine print?
By submitting your story and photograph, you agree to give Lisa Carpenter permission to publish these materials on my website/blog. Personal contact information will not be shared publicly. Submissions without the complete set of required details will not be considered.

Every teen should have a photoshoot just for them…just for fun…just because. Why? Because this is about the age that little insecurities pop up and it is awesome to see the confidence after just spending a few hours having hair, makeup, laughs and many outfit changes all to have some fun in front of the camera. All to preserve both inner and outer beauty for a lifetime. I personally love it too!
Introducing Celine! She has such a beautiful smile, great laugh and fabulous hair. We infused a bit of fashion into Celine’s session because she might choose to get into a bit of modeling. Since this was her first time having a shoot like this, I wanted to be able to give her a variety of looks, poses and expressions. Just about the time we were wrapping things up, the sun was pure magic in a location that made me wish we could hold the sun up for another hour. But we moved fast and wow…the results were awesome. Enjoy a handful of images and the slideshow to follow. Thank you Celine for a super fun time and thank you to Katie Cotton of Cotton Rouge for her beautiful makeup and hair.
