Christine & Beau had quite a lot to celebrate the day Beau proposed…Christine’s birthday, Mother’s Day, Beau’s birthday, and his graduation. Talk about a day packed with awesomeness! Well now they have two big things to celebrate in the month of December..their wedding day AND Christmas. I LOVE December weddings and December 8th, 2012 was a perfectly beautiful day for their big celebration with friends & family. Christine was so incredibly excited that it made me smile. When I showed up for getting ready shots she was nervous in a good way and smiling ear to ear. You couldn’t help but gasp when Christine put on her dress and was adding the final accessories…she was simply stunning. And THEN you couldn’t help but fan your eyes and look up at the ceiling to ward off the tears when her dad came in to see her before she walked down the aisle. The emotionally charged moments leading up to the time when they said “I do” just showed that Christine & Beau were ready to start their lives together.
Congratulations to you both! It was an honor to be a part of all things leading up to your wedding day. Please enjoy a handful of images and the slideshow just below. Thank you Katie Preuss for all your hard work, it truly is appreciated.

We managed to cover three seasons during our photographic journey…the engagement session was in the heat of the summer, the bridal was in the crisp & colorful fall and the wedding day was the cool of the winter. Maybe we need to round it all out by a post-wedding session in the spring. haha. I have had a great time getting to know Catherine & Jarrad over the last several months and it was an incredible feeling seeing them reach their wedding day destination with so much excitement. Their ceremony and reception was at The Loom in Simpsonville which is a gorgeous venue that needs little or no decor with all of its rich woods and chic rustic appearance. However, the wedding details that Catherine chose were perfect…just the right touch and worked brilliantly with the venue. As their photographer, I was thrilled when Catherine & Jarrad decided to go ahead and do the first look. As many of you know, it is nearly dark by 5:30 which meant that it would be dark before their ceremony even started. This allowed us to get beautiful photos of them both including the wedding party. I even had to sneak them out the back door at last minute to get some great shots with their getaway car as the sun was setting.
Catherine & Jarrad, your wedding day was absolutely perfect and it was an honor to be a part of it!! All the very best to you both. Thank you to Tiffany for all your hard work on the day of the wedding. Please enjoy a handful of images and the slideshow to follow.
