Sometimes the weather gets in the way of a shoot and sometimes weather can make for an incredible shoot. This was attempt #2 for Arrington & Ben’s engagement session because the last time the skies decided to open up just prior to us meeting, so we put it off for a week. Then as I was pulling into Clemson I was wondering why the person behind me had on their windshield wipers.  Well guess what?  The rain clouds paid us a visit yet again AND just before the start time.  Thank goodness we waited it out because when the rain stopped we were left with a rather dramatic sky and allowed me to capture some beautiful silhouettes!!  Arrington & Ben had the best attitude about it all and we all had a great time.  I just want to know if Arrington will share her wardrobe with me.  haha.  She really has a great sense of fashion.  Thank you both for a fun time and I look forward to the bridal session and wedding day.

Elegant. Intimate. Classy & Classic. These words are what I think of when I look back at the wedding day of Angela & Chris. After we met for getting ready photos and individual portraits downtown Greenville, we headed up to Pretty Place chapel for the ceremony. It was at the end of the day that I mentioned how I wished I could maneuver my way around the hairpin turns and take video all at the same time because the leaves were falling slowly while the sun lit up the colorful leaves. It really was like a quiet magical moment. I cannot think of a better drive to experience on the way up to hear Angela and Chris say their vows.

You couldn’t help but walk out to the end of the chapel and look out over the mountains…I guess that is why it is called Pretty Place because that it is. Once we were finished with the photos, it was time to make our way back to the city and enjoy dinner, a few toasts and cake. It was nice to sit with all the family & guests at one big table and enjoy the evening. I had an incredible time the entire day and am so thrilled to have been a part of it all. Oh and can I brag a moment? My sweet bride Angela is an incredible entrepreneur and has a line of hand blended perfume oils, scrubs, and body butters called Poison Apple Apothecary on Etsy. Be sure to check it out. Heck, they both are really driven in their careers and it is great to see them support each other on their passions. I am so excited for you both and look forward to our post-wedding photo session!! Thank you again!
