The day Catherine, Jarrad & I set out to do the engagement session was a day that there was a lot of activity going on in the city. So our original location was packed with a family festival and we had to search for a new location. The beauty of it is that we found THE perfect locations for their shoot, so in the end it was a good thing 🙂 The red background was a great contrast against the wooden numbers of their wedding date. I instantly saw a save the date card. haha. Enjoy a handful of photos and the slideshow. Thank you Catherine & Jarrad, I had a blast with you both!!

Bridal sessions are such a love of mine. I know I have said it before many times, but I truly enjoy every minute of these shoots. I get a chance to be one on one with my bride and she gets to feel truly amazing for a day. After hair and makeup it is time to put on the dress that she will wear on the big day and it is great to capture a variety of looks showing it off! I have also mentioned that it is a good way to have a ‘trial run’ to see if there is anything that needs changing before walking down the aisle such as the hairstyle, a tweak in the makeup or even a dress modification. Suzie looked spectacular and as I mentioned to her, she is a classic beauty. It was time to have some fun and practice some posing 🙂 Suzie & Mitch got married this last Saturday and those photos are soon coming. It was a magical day and I cannot wait to share it with them and all of you.
This next one was just a moment I caught where Suzie was laughing and I just love it!

I absolutely love her dress!! Who is the designer? It looks like a dress I have tried on recently, but her dress has a slightly longer train, which I love!

Great pictures!! I absolutely love her dress! It looks like an Essence of Australia dress that I recently tried on, but it’s slightly different. Who made her dress? I want to try it on!! I’ve tried on several dresses I can’t seem to find the right one. This one looks very close to the vision I want!
