Working an engagement session in for Jimmi Leigh & Zach was tough because of their work schedule, but they both made it happen and were super excited! The night before the shoot the weather called for rain and the chance of it happening was pretty good. Being that there wasn’t much room to for them to reschedule we decided to just go for it and if it rained, we would think of a plan B. Thank goodness we went forth with the shoot because the sky was simply amazing! The clouds were puffy and dramatic, the lighting was soft at times and direct at others. But overall, this was a perfect day to shoot. So we set out on a trek and stopped wherever a cool spot was found. We had many laughs, silly moments and fun times along the way. We were down near the baseball stadium and noticed there was an event going on. There were two Carolina cheerleaders walking with a friend of theirs and I HAD to ask them to stop and take a few pics since Jimmi Leigh & Zach are a house divided: Clemson v. Carolina! Jimmi Leigh was such a good sport and it made for some very fun photos.
The bridal shoot & engagement session are now complete and I am so looking forward to their wedding in 3 weeks 😉 Enjoy the handful of photos and slideshow below.

After two fun engagement sessions and one fabulous bridal shoot, the wedding day photos are now ready to view! Shay & Kip worked really hard to pull together the Mr. & Mrs. Smith theme and I must say that it was done perfectly!! It was so cool to see an 8 foot poster of one of the engagement photos with the Mr. & Mrs. Smith logo. The ceremony was at The Plantation on Pelham which had some beautiful grounds. The restored plantation is a hidden gem right in the middle of Greenville, SC.
Congrats to you both Shay & Kip and thank you for allowing me to be a part of this year long journey toward your big day. I really enjoyed myself and wish you both the very best!

Online gallery will be ready very soon! Thank you Leslie for all your hard work 🙂
