2008
Thanks to modern technology, we can now stay in touch anywhere in the world. Even though we are all exposed to global communication, it still amazes me 🙂 My sister Sarah, has been in Morocco volunteering with Cross-Cultural Solutions and we have been able to see and read all about her amazing experiences and thought I would share a few pictures. Sarah and others from her group went to the Sahara Desert to ride camels and experience the culture of the locals. I have been so inspired by her stories that I have thought that I too would truly enjoy volunteering my time with those in need and even involve my two boys! In the group shot, Sarah is on the far left with the striped bag 🙂

Sarah was shown how to wear a hijab as she must wear one during her time in Morocco. Keep up the great work Sarah!!!

I have been receiving some requests to extend the contest entry deadline. I realize that it was announced at one of the most busy times of year and so I completely understand! So, the deadline will now be set for January 20th to allow you more time to get things back in order after the holidays. I will also send an updated newsletter just in case you miss this post 🙂
Have a great day!

HI Jen!!! It’s great to hear from you. We had a great holiday even though we missed Sarah since she is in Africa, but so well worth it:)
Thank you Lisa for commenting. It is so great to be able to keep up with her through e-mail and photos. I am proud of her 🙂
