The views, the laughs, the moments…they were ALL perfect! The location for Lauren & Jonathan’s wedding ceremony and reception couldn’t have been more beautiful! The little white chapel tucked back in the trees with views of the mountains, the fields, the small and quaint town of Highlands, NC – it was all just amazing.
Capturing Lauren & Jonathan’s first look made me tear up just watching them have those first few private moments before walking down the aisle. You could feel their excitement and love. Then when Jonathan looked up to the sky to have a moment with his father, it was incredibly touching!! I realized during editing that I caught that moment and I teared up yet again. haha. There were so many powerful moments like this and I am beyond excited for this great couple to begin their journey together. Thank you both for having me capture such a special day. It was an honor!

I have LOVED being a part of Anna & Robert’s family milestones and I am SO looking forward to many more!! It seems like it was yesterday that we were at the Biltmore for their wedding and then out in a field for Anna’s maternity session. We have had many laughs along the way especially with the crazy reflector. I believe Robert was a wee bit relieved when he didn’t have to maneuver the big golden rectangle especially when the wind kicks in. But I must say that it makes for some great behind the scenes photos 🙂
Charlie Anna is now ONE!! Oh my goodness! When Anna called me to say that she wanted to do a tea set theme, I knew that this would be perfect for Charlie Anna’s one year session. And it was….
