Once the slideshow and photos were ready for Megan + Tripp’s wedding day blog post, I was almost at a loss for words because I felt that my description wouldn’t do their day justice. If I could think of a word to describe elegance, beauty, style, fun, southern charm, happiness, love and positive energy…that would be what I would use for what Megan + Tripp’s wedding was like. Megan’s wedding dress is jaw-dropping gorgeous!! It was a perfect choice for her. The use of colors and the style of the bridesmaids dresses were so awesome against the Tiffany blue car. The entire wedding party was so much fun and I enjoyed spending the day with everyone. When I saw the cake, it was obvious that it was designed to compliment her wedding dress. The detail was really quite amazing. The band kept everyone on their feet dancing the entire night…oh and the Clemson tiger only enhanced the fun energy of the reception.
I am so very excited for you both Megan + Tripp. It was a really special for me to see so many of my past brides and grooms and I couldn’t help but give out many hugs. It was an honor to be a part of your big day. I wish you both so much happiness. A BIG thank you to Kelsey Farnham for all your assistance and hard work!
Enjoy the slideshow and photos below 🙂

Every morning I sit down at my computer with a cup of coffee and check email and of course…Facebook 🙂 I saw that there were a few messages in my Facebook inbox so I clicked to read them. One of them was from my niece Heather…she got engaged and I get to be her photographer! Super big smile! I have heard so many great things about Dylan but we never met until the engagement session. So not only was I in the midst of having a lot of fun on Heather & Dylan’s engagement session, but I was asking him questions here and there and observing how he was with Heather. I must say that I am thrilled!! Dylan is so wonderful and I can see that he loves Heather immensely. They are a great match.
I LOVE what they chose to wear! It was perfect for the downtown setting. I definitely have some of my favorite and most requested shots from downtown, but it is always fun to mix things up try out a few new locations. So we walked around a good bit and tried to stay as cool as possible in the crazy heat. When I have a good bit of time one-on-one with a couple like I do on engagement sessions, I like to capture a wide variety of moments. The posed/more directed poses are a must for sure, but it is also a must to capture those moments of laughing, hugging, looking at each other and of course a few kisses.  The reason that I consider these a must too is because I want them to look back 10…20 years from now and remember how they felt and not just what they looked like.
Thank you Heather & Dylan for a super awesome afternoon!
Thank you for stopping by!
