When Emily called me to ask if I would be her wedding photographer I quietly threw my arms up in the air and thought and emphatic “YES!!”. I am beyond happy for this amazing couple and am thrilled to see them begin their lives together. What’s totally cute about Emily is that while we were talking about the engagement session details, she had all these fun ideas about what she wanted. Then as time went on she said “Oh, we can just keep it simple and we really don’t need to use the motorcycle if it’s too much trouble.” I was like “Ok Miss Emily…we totally have to use the motorcycle and bring a couple outfits, a couple of smiles and we will have loads of fun”. These photos are very important to them and I knew she may just be getting a little anxious before the day of our session. We started at the Pettigru Place Bed & Breakfast where they got engaged and when they showed up I saw them both looking SO amazing! Great outfits and great energy from them both. I couldn’t wait to get started.
After taking photos at the Pettigru Place, we headed downtown for more fun. The great part about taking photos with the motorcycle is that we could have a little creative fun…a mix of fashionable, dramatic and playful. Thank you Emily & Mark for making the day so much fun! I cannot wait for your big day.
Thank you for stopping by!

In all my years of shooting weddings in this area, I have yet to make it out to The Reserve at Keowee. Â I have been to Keowee multiple times to ski and enjoy the scenery, but really was unaware of the amazing community that was nestled within. Â The drive into The Reserve was like a fun roller coaster ride in the car and when I made it to the location where I would meet up with Lauren & Matthew, I found myself saying “wow…this is beautiful” a lot. Â The chapel where Lauren & Matthew will be married is simple, elegant and well…perfect. Â I cannot WAIT for their big day!
I really enjoyed spending the afternoon with you Lauren & Matthew. Â I Â look forward to seeing you both real soon.
Thank you for stopping by!
