Engagement sessions are awesome fun and such a great way for us all to get to know each other!  Christine & Beau met through a mutual friend at Clemson in 2007 and recently were engaged.  Beau proposed to Christine on her birthday which also happened to be the day they were celebrating Mother’s Day, his birthday, and his graduation.  WOW what a day!  We met up on the campus of Clemson and walked around a lot, stopping at locations that screamed ‘shoot here!’. haha.  The two of them managed to look amazing despite the crazy heat…but that is the summer norm here in the south.

Once we wrapped up the final shot, we headed over to grab some sushi at the bar & restaurant that Beau used to work at in college.  I had such a great time chatting even more AND being in the air conditioning.  🙂  Congratulations you two…I cannot WAIT for your wedding day!!  Enjoy a handful of images and the slideshow to follow.

Thank you for stopping by!

Teaching is something that I absolutely LOVE!  One on one classes are great because I can really tailor the class to the level of the student.  This class was broken up into two days.  The first day was just going over all the technical bits of information such as aperture, shutter speeds, ISO, focal lengths, how distance to subject affects the depth of field, etc.  It is a lot to take in, so it is nice to break it up a bit.  The second day was shooting time and Kaylin was our awesome model for the day.  I wanted to be able to show how to find great light, natural reflectors, and how color temperatures affect the overall look.   The third part of the class will be an image critique over Skype.  This will allow me the opportunity to explain what was done great and what can be improved upon and why.

I managed to get a handful of images myself and wanted to share:
