The grounds at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC are breathtaking! I LOVE doing sessions and/or weddings there because there are endless beautiful backdrops. The morning was quite chilly, so little Miss Audrey was getting a lot of snuggles in between pictures to keep her warm. Audrey has THE most captivating blue eyes and she was definitely paying attention to my goofy moves and sounds in attempt to get her to look my way. Since we will be seeing each other a good bit over the coming year, I am sure she will be a pro and won’t need me to be so silly. haha!! I can’t wait to get in more Audrey snuggles during our next sessions. Thank you so much Tom & Courtney for having me document these first years with your family. I love it! Until next time….

One of the many things that I love about The Cliffs at Glassy Chapel is the gorgeous views surrounding the entire property. It lends itself to endless gorgeous backdrops for photos. When Katie & I arrived to meet up with Kendal & Sky, we were both commenting how amazing the day was..blue skies and nice warm temperatures. Kendal decided that she wanted to do the First Look, so after we got our details shots and she got into her dress, we whisked them away for their special moment. The stretch limo is not the easiest to turn on a dime, but the driver was gracious enough to accommodate my last minute change on location 🙂 Sky’s face when he saw Kendal for the first time was priceless because he could not stop smiling! Soon it was time to get back to the chapel and get ready to walk down the aisle. A very touching moment that I remember was when the minister got a little choked up just after he started. He mentioned that he has known Kendal since she was little and this day was very special for him too. After the ceremony the beautiful sounds of a bagpipe filled the air and everyone stopped to listen, watch and take videos. Absolutely perfect!
We then headed downtown Greenville to High Cotton for the reception. The evening views of the city were incredible, the music was great and the guests were truly enjoying every moment as they celebrated Kendal & Sky’s big day!! It was simply a perfect day. Congratulations to you both. Thank you SO much for having me capture such a big day in your lives. It was an honor. A BIG thank you to Katie for all your hard work and creativity.
